With its sandy beaches, famous tourist attractions, and warm weather, Florida is one of America’s favorite destination states. However, most people are surprised by the expertly crafted beer coming from a number of brewpubs and breweries in Florida. With well-known local breweries, like St. Petersburg’s Cycle Brewing and Oakland Park’s Funky Buddha Brewery, to major names, like Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing Company, Florida plays host to some of the craft beer industry’s biggest up-and-coming names.
