Virginia Craft Breweries & Brewpubs

Virginia has enjoyed a long and respected brewing tradition since it was first colonized in the early 17th century. With nearly 100 craft breweries currently calling the state home, it’s no surprise that Virginia has been quietly making waves in the beer industry. Breweries like Roseland’s Devil’s Backbone Brewing Company and Herdon’s Aslin Brewing Company have helped give the state a great reputation, but up-and-coming breweries, like Abingdon’s Wolf Hills Brewing Company, continue to expand the craft brewing scene and attract new visitors every year.

In addition to the great beers listed above, we’ve also been fortunate enough to partner with several Virginian craft breweries through Rare Beer Club®, our most exclusive monthly beer club. Several years ago, we worked closely with the brewers at Blue Mountain Barrel House in Arrington, VA, who gave us access to their Chocolate & Coffee-Aged Dark Hollow barrel-aged imperial stout, a limited-edition version of their well-liked stout. Members of our Rare Beer Club have access to excellent craft beers, including some that are brewed exclusively for the club!
