Unmatched Variety by style, brewery & country
Choose from Five different Beer Clubs offering unmatched variety by brewery,
country of origin, and beer style to suit your specific tastes.
- Style: Golden/Blonde Ale
- ABV: 6.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 28
- Serving Temperature: 38-45º F
- Suggested Glassware: Stange, Flute, Pilsner Glass
- Hops: Magnum, Cascade
- Malts: 2-Row Pale, Crystal
- Country: United States
Pouring golden with bright white foam, Terlingua Gold offers some grassy, floral hop aromas with a hint of stone fruit. We found the malt core gained a bit of a toasty bread character as the beer warms. On the palate, look for that nice core of pale and light crystal malt to come through fairly robust with some pleasant crackery notes. We found the malts were superbly countered by a moderate level of clean Magnum hop bitterness and a touch of Cascade zestiness...
- Style: Flemish Old Style Sour Ale
- ABV: 5.0%
- Serving Temperature: 52–57° F
- Suggested Glassware: Tulip, Burgundy Glass, or Lambic Tumbler
- Country: Belgium
This "FLemish Old Style Sour" ale felt like the best parts of Flemish red and brown ales combined. This beer also, for us, was one of the most precise and dialed-in examples of the oud bruin style that we could recall sampling in recent years. There is an engaging feel to FLOSS that we often find lacking in sweet-and-sour brown ales, and a lean body and assertive lactic tartness that often made us think of a well-attenuated Flemish red. FLOSS pours a bright...
- Style: American Amber Ale
- ABV: 5.25%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 25
- Serving Temperature: 45-50º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Flute
- Hops: Centennial, Cascade
- Malts: 2-Row Pale, Munich, Torrified Wheat, Biscuit, Caramel, Chocolate
- Country: United States
Presenting a medium amber color with a cap of rocky foam, this brew offers up some big toasty, caramel malt undertones, overlaid by some floral hops that are bolstered by hints of citrus and a touch of woodiness. Amber ales are a broad category; they can be crafted in a lot of different ways. Most are malty – some very much so – and some are very hoppy with amped up bitterness levels. We liked the balanced approach Crazy Mountain took. The malts...
- Style: American IPA
- ABV: 6.8%
- Serving Temperature: 45-50° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Country: Denmark
Pouring a fairly deep reddish-amber with creamy off-white foam and good clarity, this IPA is a looker. From the first sniff there’s no doubt that it’s an American-style IPA as there are prominent, juicy, citric notes bolstered by some floral overtones, all overlaying a pretty robust caramel malt backbone. Like with any IPA, expect the hop bitterness to come through on the palate quite firmly – but it’s not overdone. The caramel malts are bold, with a drying toasty...
- Notable Ingredients: Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Chardonnay barrels
- Style: Dry-Hopped Sour Saison
- ABV: 6.5%
- Serving Temperature: 45–52° F
- Suggested Glassware: Tulip, Chardonnay glass, or Flute
- Country: United States
Fünke Hop Farm has only been released once before, and we’ve snagged Batch 2 as a Rare Beer Club Exclusive that perfectly fits in with our new Hop-Heads Beer Club. Sudwerk went all out for this second batch. Where to begin... This beer is brewed with oats and wheat, and fermented with two strains of saison yeast. It's then aged 6 to 9 months in Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Chardonnay barrels while being fermented with Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, and a house yeast culture. It's then blended...
- Style: American Pale Ale
- ABV: 6.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 40
- Serving Temperature: 40-45º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Citra, Simcoe
- Malts: 2-Row Pale, Dextrin, Caramel
- Country: United States
This pale ale pours an attractive coppery-amber color topped with an ample crop of foam that laces the glass as it recedes. Fruity hop aromas are apparent right away, including citrus, tropical fruit, and stone fruit overtones. Hints of caramel malt peak through. On the palate, we felt the malts offered plenty of backbone, offering some caramelized, lightly toasty notes. The very American duo of Simcoe & Citra hops works real well; expect fresh notes of citrus...
- Style: Imperial Witbier
- ABV: 6.2%
- Serving Temperature: 45-50° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass, Flute
- Country: Denmark
Described as an imperial witbier, Wit Fit is a new brew that’s just starting to hit the market as of this writing; club members are among the first to try it. Exciting! Let’s check it out… On the pour, this Belgian-style wheat beer is very well carbonated, golden, and somewhat hazy – all qualities we expect from a wit. There’s a layer of yeast at the bottom of the can, so you can pour most of it, swirl the can, and pour the remainder if you want to seriously amp up the haze...
- Style: English-style Porter
- ABV: 6.4%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 28
- Serving Temperature: 48-53º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer
- Malts: 2-Row Pale, Crystal, Chocolate
- Country: United States
This deep brown porter offers some pretty red flashes when held to the light. Look for deeply caramelized malt aromas with notes of brown sugar and a little spice. Coffee grounds and bitter chocolate make an appearance, too, along with telltale wisps of mint from the Northern Brewer finishing hops, along with a bit of tea. It opens on the palate with the sweeter caramel notes, expanding into a hint of nuttiness and big roasted notes that build and then linger...
