Unmatched Variety by style, brewery & country
Choose from Five different Beer Clubs offering unmatched variety by brewery,
country of origin, and beer style to suit your specific tastes.
- Style: German Pilsner
- ABV: 5.0%
- Serving Temperature: 43-48°F
- Suggested Glassware: Pilsner Glass, Flute
- Country: Turkey
The name Efes has been synonymous with beer in Turkey since their Pilsener hit the scene in 1969. Made with malts produced in Efes’s own malteries, this brew presents a quintessential German-style pilsner appearance in the glass: pure golden in color with nice clarity, capped by a bright white head of foam that drops some lace as it recedes. On the nose, expect a lightly sweet pils malt aroma, while the noble hops offer up a fairly grassy and...
- Style: Hefeweizen
- ABV: 5.5%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 16
- Serving Temperature: 45-50° F
- Suggested Glassware: Weizen Glass
- Country: Germany
This brew is intriguing right off the bat, as the orange color is quite deep for a (non-dunkel) hefeweizen. As expected, it’s hazy with suspended yeast, and the beer is also highly carbonated, per the style. The aromas that burst forth are quintessential hefeweizen; look for prominent banana and clove notes, a light bready character, a touch of bubblegum, and spicy hop and yeast notes. The aromas come through in the flavor too, with perhaps a bit...
- Style: Czech Pilsner
- ABV: 5.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 36
- Serving Temperature: 40-45º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pilsner Glass, Flute
- Hops: Tradition
- Malts: Pilsner, Aromatic
- Country: United States
Cisco’s Summer of Lager is brewed in the style of a Bohemian (Czech) Pilsner, and it’s also reminiscent of the similar Helles Lagers of Bavaria. Expect a golden color with a bright white head and nice clarity. We found the aroma offers a note of lightly toasted bread, with a fairly grassy quality. Look for a touch of hay and cut grain with some light citrus notes. On the palate it’s quite dry from start to finish, although considering the ...
- Style: Belgian Tripel
- ABV: 8.2%
- Serving Temperature: 40–49° F
- Suggested Glassware: Tulip, Chalice, or Pinot Glass
- Country: Belgium
Wilderen’s Tripel Kanunnik poured perfectly into the glass: a deep-deep golden and honeyed color that reminded us of Sauternes, with a bright white head capping it. There is an exceptional aroma here, and one that extends well beyond our normal expectations for this style. Sure, there’s the normal delicious notes of the Belgian tripel here: its white pepper and even light clove showing clear beside further bitterness of spicy, zesty noble hops.
- Style: Blended Brett Saison
- ABV: 6.3%
- Serving Temperature: 50–55° F
- Suggested Glassware: Tulip, Goblet, or Pinot Glass
- Country: United States
We’ve been all excited to try this beer for a while now. Henry actually brewed Rara Avis (or at least part of it) on Christmas Eve. It is, in fact, a blend of two different Brett saisons, one brewed with spelt, and the other with rye. One of the two had Lactobacillus contributing to it as well, which accounts for that pleasant soft tartness of the final product. This conditioned for a few months already, letting the yeast-y characteristics...
- Style: Witbier
- ABV: 4.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 10
- Serving Temperature: 42-47º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass, Pilsner Glass
- Hops: Cluster
- Malts: Wheat, 2-Row Pale
- Country: United States
Grey Lady is Cisco's take on the Belgian witbier (white beer) style, so as we expect, it pours a moderately hazy, light straw color capped by a bright white head. Brewed typically with citrus peel and spices, especially coriander, along with highly-expressive Belgian yeast, witbiers can be quite complex in both aroma and flavor, and this one is no exception. In the highly fragrant aroma, expect bright and bold notes of orange and coriander to...
- Style: Oatmeal Stout
- ABV: 6.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 22
- Serving Temperature: 52-60º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Mt. Hood, Czech Saaz, Millennium
- Malts: 2-Row Brewers, Black, Munich 20L, Caramel 80L, Chocolate, Flaked Oats, Roasted Barley, White Wheat
- Country: United States
Pouring a very, very, dark coffee-like brown color, this oatmeal stout offers up quite the inviting aroma. Deep roasty notes of scorched bread and coffee are underpinned by hints of caramel, toffee, and a hint of grassy, herbal hops. With a grain bill as complex as Back Road's, it's not surprising the flavor profile is both robust and interesting. Expect big roasty notes along with flashes of dark fruits, a bit of cocoa powder, and a wisp of...
- Style: India Pale Ale
- ABV: 5.7%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 45
- Serving Temperature: 45-50º F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Victory, US Magnum, Cascade, Zythos, Willamette
- Malts: Pale Ale Base Malt, Munich 20L, Caramel 40L, White Wheat
- Country: United States
Millstream’s year-round IPA pours a rich amber color topped with a head of light khaki foam that laces well as it recedes. Hop aromas are quite fruity, with big citrus notes reminiscent of candied orange and lemon bolstered by piney and floral qualities. There’s a good dose of caramel and Munich malt underneath it all, and this malt backbone really makes itself known in the flavor department too. Expect plenty of toasty bread and caramel...
