Unmatched Variety by style, brewery & country
Choose from Five different Beer Clubs offering unmatched variety by brewery,
country of origin, and beer style to suit your specific tastes.
- Style: Sweet Stout
- ABV: 5.5%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 30
- Serving Temperature: 50-55° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Bravo, Mt. Hood
- Malts: Pale, Munich, Dark Crystal, Peat, Crushed Roast
- Country: United States
Oak Barrel Stout is among the darkest beers we’ve seen in a while. This baby is completely opaque and offers up an inviting, rich, dark head. On the nose, we found the vanilla beans with which it was fermented to be very apparent, along with a semi-sweet chocolate character. There’s also a prominent roasty, smoky quality, along with an underlying caramel sweetness and a wisp of graham cracker. On the palate, look for an oaky woodiness (from...
- Style: Irish Red Ale
- ABV: 4.8%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 28
- Serving Temperature: 43-48° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Mt. Hood, Golding
- Malts: 2-Row English Clarity, Crystal, Wheat, Barley, Chocolate
- Country: United States
This traditional Irish-style Red Ale unsurprisingly pours a deep, rich, reddish-amber color boasting brilliant clarity. On the nose, we were immediately struck by some almost berry-like red fruit and floral notes along with the prominent caramel and toasty overtones characteristic of the style. The aroma proved to be a good predictor of the flavor as these elements are readily apparent on the palate, too. Look for rich caramel and toffee-like...
- Style: American IPA
- ABV: 6.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 49.7
- Serving Temperature: 47-52° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Bravo, Cascade, Nelson Sauvin, Select
- Malts: Pale, Munich, Wheat, Crystal, Crushed Black
- Country: United States
This IPA presents an attractive medium amber hue highlighted with orange flashes and a cap of off-white foam which laces the glass as it recedes. On the nose, expect big citrus hop notes tending toward grapefruit, with resinous pine and very fruity, tropical notes. This theme carries onward to the palate, too. Thankfully, Dominion has given their IPA a sturdy backbone of flavorful caramel and lightly toasty malt to support the impressive...
- Style: English Strong Ale
- ABV: 7.0%
- Int’l Bittering Units (IBUs): 38
- Serving Temperature: 48-55° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass, Mug, or Snifter
- Hops: Cascade, Mt. Hood, East Kent Golding
- Malts: 2-Row English Pale, Crystal, Chocolate
- Country: United States
Hampshire Special Ale pours an amber-red color with an ample, creamy, light khaki colored head. On the nose, a malty aroma with a firm hop bite is readily apparent. Look for toasty, caramel, and fruity notes with a honey-like quality, joined with floral hops and an underlying citric impression. As it warms, hints of the 7.0% ABV begin to peak through. Take a sip and…Wow! Lot’s going on here! Look for it to open with big fruity notes akin...
- Style: London-style Porter
- ABV: 5.6%
- Serving Temperature: 50-55° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pint Glass or Mug
- Hops: Pilgrim, Phoenix, Progress
- Malts: Pale Ale, Munich, Crystal, Roasted Barley, Chocolate, Black, Wheat
- Country: Scotland
Deep brown with reddish highlights, good clarity, and a very robust, lasting head, this is one inviting porter. We could (and almost did) just enjoy the aromas forever: caramel, brown sugar, chocolate frosting, deep-down dark fruits akin to plum and fig, mocha coffee, a splash of dark rum – all overlaid with a touch of floral, lightly spicy hops. With a malt bill composed of seven different varieties, the many subtle complexities in this...
- Style: Czech Pilsner
- ABV: 4.4.%
- Serving Temperature: 40-45° F
- Suggested Glassware: Pilsner Glass
- Country: Czech Republic
Despite being a technologically advanced, modern facility, the brewery uses traditional lager brewing techniques to make their flagship beers, including open fermentation vats, cool conditioning in their lagering cellars and, of course, 100% barley malt. The result is a successful Czech pilsner. Rebel is a looker in the glass, offering a clear golden color topped with a robust and long-lasting head of fine white foam. On the nose, expect a...
- Style: Organic Farmhouse Ale with Spice
- ABV: 6.5%
- Serving Temperature: 44–50° F
- Suggested Glassware: Tulip, Goblet or Pinot Glass
- Country: United States
Szech ‘n Brett is one of Logsdon’s newer releases, having been in the market for just over a year, with about 500 cases sold across a handful of states. Given that small overall allocation, we were grateful to be able to get enough allocated for our Rare Beer Club members. This is a tasty, very limited release from Logsdon, and we’re excited to help get it out into the world. This organic farmhouse ale with spice offers all the precision and...
- Style: Sour Belgian Blonde Ale, Spontaneously Fermented in Tuscan Oak Wine Barrels
- ABV: 6.8%
- Serving Temperature: 45–54° F
- Suggested Glassware: Tulip Glass, Chardonnay Glass or Lambic Tumbler
- Country: Belgium
We were excited to cross paths with this highly limited release in the first place, and we were more than a little thrilled to be able to secure enough of their anniversary Keyte for The Rare Beer Club—no small feat, given your thirsts and ours. This is a stronger unfiltered blonde of the Belgian high-fermentation tradition. After a year of spontaneous fermentation and slowly maturing in Tuscan oak wine barrels, the transformed standard Keyte...
